Coating System Environment Recorder

Veriteq's Coating System Environment Recorder (CSER) model KT-2000-NEI is a Temperature & Relative Humidity Data Logging system specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Preservation Process Instruction (PPI) Core Document (PPI NBR:63101-000).

The system provides a highly portable, accurate, and reliable means to record the following measurement parameters important to critical coating processes:

• Ambient temperature, relative humidity and dewpoint (included data logger model SP-2000-ECI)
• Surface substrate temperature (included data logger model SP-1000-SSI)

• Self-contained data loggers with long-life ten year battery operation
• System automatically records ambient temperature, RH and dewpoint as well as surface substrate temperature
• Storage for 21,500 high accuracy and resolution readings - capable of covering over one month of data when taking a reading every five minutes
• Easily-replaceable double filter system protects sensors and allows accurate sensing of coating environment
• Withstands exposure to MEK/MAK and many other hydrocarbons
• Rugged Palm handheld computer provides real-time display of temperature, relative humidity, and dewpoint (Veriteq sGo software)
• Field download recorded data for later transfer to a PC
• PC Software (Spectrum) Windows based software for graphical / tabular display of data

What's needed to meet specification requirements

To meet PPI specification requirements, a starter kit containing one SP-2000-ECI data logger (for ambient temperature, RH, and dewpoint), one SP-1000-SSI data logger (for surface substrate temperature), rugged Palm handheld computer, and software is required.
